This page needs a lot of updates. I am not taking freelance projects any more. I am doing a full-time job now. It will take sometime for me to update this page. Except that, this page still gives a good idea about me.
About me in a tweet:
Helloo… I am V.V.K.Chandra, 29 now. I live in India. I am a blogger, techie, regular book reader, wanna be writer, aspiring entrepreneur.
More on the subject of me:
I am an electronics and communications engineer by qualification. After graduating in 2004, I worked as a lecturer for three months at the same college where I studied. Fortunately or unfortunately, in Jan 2005, I landed into one of the India’s major IT services companies and thus became a software engineer which is a dream job for most of the engineering graduates in India.
Somehow the initial euphoria of getting into job, earning good money did not last long. Slowly the idea of being on my own started to develop. Finally a day had come when I was so desperate to move out of the day job and do something different from going to a regular day job. If you ask me what made me to leave the job, my answer would be a simple ‘I do not know exactly‘. But looking back I can say dissatisfaction with job, doing something on my own were the primary factors which influenced my decision.
After quitting, I worked as a freelance web designer and developer. Successfully finished few web development projects for clients. Frankly, my idea was not to get into freelancing stuff, but to get into Web 2.0. But somehow that did not happen. I never managed to do what I initially intended when I left the job. Anyways no regrets what so ever, though there are few moments where I wish I could have stayed at the job. I have learned a lot of new stuff that I am sure I would not have in such a short time if I was in a job.
Coming to a bit of personal stuff, I love computers, technology, programming, books, writing, and of course blogging. Writing seems to fascinate me these days more than anything else can. And a fact I am shameless to brag about here is: my first twelve years of formal education was in my native language, Telugu. That means I studied English as a second language or in other words to somehow pass the English exam. Yet I seem to manage quite well with my writing. If you find any errors in my writing, do let me know. I am continuously trying to improve my writing skills.
Enough gasconade, I can’t end this small bio of mine without writing a special note to my friends and well-wishers. For all you guys I wanna say – “don’t worry, I will be fine, down the line after a few years” At least I am happy though I am not earning any real money. Thanks for your support till now and I hope you will continue to do so.
Thank you very much for reading. If you have a blog or website and you think the content I write here helps your readers, please do add me to your blogroll.

Hi Chandra… Though we studied in the same college (mine is CSE), we don’t know much about each other. Kiran (CSE) told me about your blog and I must say … at first I just thought of having a look at it… but I just went on reading … I liked your spirit… Keep Going… I Wish You All The Best For Your Bright Future.
