Well, one more try at writing a poem. Let me know what you think of it. Guys, please don’t ask me whether I wrote it for a girl or what. I don’t want to tell lies Jokes apart, it’s partly a writing exercise and partly from experience and partly fiction

Before I saw you
my eyes never saw anything beautiful
After I saw you
my mind never stopped thinking of you
Where did you come from
the angel of my dreams

Why was I at loss of words
when I was with you
never asking even your name
while all my life, I was waiting for you

Never knowing who you are
how am I going to find you
if it wasn’t a dream

If it was a dream
why don’t you come again
the angel of my dreams.

I realized, writing poems is very difficult than writing composition in general. Poetry needs a good vocabulary and ability to express thoughts clearly in a poetic form.
