To life with gratitude

This is my first ever try at writing anything close to  a poem. I hope you like it. I would be happy to hear your thoughts about it.

***

To life I salute with gratitude
Without you what creation is for
With you everything exists
Life and life alone

In the deepest valleys
On the highest mountains
In the depths of oceans
On the plains of deserts
To life I salute with gratitude
Life and life alone

To life I salute
For experiencing the creation
To life I salute with gratitude
Only life and nothing else
Life and life alone

***

Thank you for reading and please share your thoughts.

Well, I am talking about life in living things. In fact I am not sure whether life exists inanimately. Even if it exists who will experience it the way living things experience. Are we getting too mystical? I want to leave it here.
