This is a great-sounding program. Thank you for your dedication to making sure all people have proper access to the justice system. Could it be replicated in other countries besides India? There is a need for this in many, many communities around the world.

Dear Mam,

Your first intro to me was as “Crane Bedi”, when I was a school Kid in Delhi ( now I’ve more or less setlled in Pune ). Even then, at that age, we freinds were impressed with the new concept & soon realised that your thinking was not limited to just one or two new thoughts but so many which followed; the crowning glory was the ” Tihar Jail “. Till then as a kid, Tihar Jail (specially while passing next to it in a DTC bus ) used to bring a thought of all the criminals who will always remain criminals, and come out as criminals (this obiviously was a kid’s thought & I do NOW understand might not be the case with all). After reading the articles then, tyhe thoughts certainly changed; I always used to get a thought about the reformations happening inside & about the humans who have knowingly/ unknowinly erred but are striving to come back in the folds of the society. This thought in a developing brain, could be biggest award of all.
Now this site “Safer India” certainly shows your never dying attitude towards the betterment of society and above all generates confidencein us about your thinking and future plans ( the best part is that the voluntary retirement has not stopped you at all but on the contrary seems to be a small part of a much bigger plan )

I would like to Thank You for thinking about us the citizens so selflessly.
